Norsif og BlueOrchard/Schroders invite to a breakfast seminar about impact-investment

Members of Norsif and Forening for Finansfag Norge are hereby invited.

Time: Wednesday 8 February at 9.00-10.30 am (breakfast served from 8.30)

Venue: Finansnæringens hus, Hansteens gate 2, 6 etg, Oslo

As part of implementing ESG investment activities, many Nordics investors are well advanced in addressing environmental aspects in their investment activities and portfolios. Addressing the S, within ESG is increasingly becoming an investment priority. Impact investment is being considered as a tool to address the social dimension of ESG. Norsif is pleased to invite you to this breakfast seminar where senior investment professionals representing different areas will be sharing how they work to address the social aspects of ESG through their investment activities.

  • Here we will shed light on three relevant impact cases that focus on people; financial inclusion, health and how the impact mindset can be incorporated into real estate investments.
  • You will meet three investors and gain insight into how they work with impact investments. We aim for an informal seminar where you will have the opportunity to pose questions after each speaker.
  • The aim of the day is thus to provide insight into how impact investments are put into practise in three different areas.

  • Opening remrks: Lars Erik Mangset, Board Member of Norsif and Head of Sustainable Finance, Grieg Investor
  • Introductory note: Magnus Weikert, VP – Business Development, Nordics, BlueOrchard
  • Impact of financial inclusion: Lise Lindbäck, Investment Director, Nordic Microfinance Initiative
  • Impact in real estate: Marleen Bikker-Bekkers, Head of Investments Europe, Patrizia Global Partners
  • Impact in health: Gudleik Njå, CEO, Laerdal Invest.

Registration is open until Monday 6 February at noon. The room takes 60 participants, so we recommend that you register early.
